Our Story

Our little venture, Heart & Halo, blossomed from a truly heartwarming place: the colorful drawings of six-year-old twins in their religious education class at Our Lady of Peace Korean Catholic Center in Irvine, California.

It all began with simple markers and paper as they learned about the lives of different saints. As their mother, I was so touched by the innocent beauty and unique interpretations in their artwork. An idea sparked – wouldn't it be wonderful to transform these precious drawings into stickers? My initial thought was purely to create something special and perhaps sell them to raise a little money for Our Lady Of Peace Korean Catholic Center's new shrine campaign.

But as these things often do, the idea grew. The charm of their saintly sketches felt like it could bring joy and inspiration to more than just sticker form. Soon, t-shirts and tote bags entered the picture, offering a new canvas to share these beautiful designs.

Our first leap of faith was a pop-up shop right at Our Lady Of Peace Korean Catholic Center on Easter Sunday. The response was incredible! Seeing the smiles and the connection people felt with these designs filled our hearts with joy. It was clear that these weren't just products; they were a way to share our faith in a tangible and beautiful way.

Inspired by this success and the desire to spread this unique artwork and love for our faith even further, we decided to bring Heart & Halo to a wider audience. We believe these designs hold a special kind of innocence and devotion that can resonate with people everywhere.

Most importantly, our mission remains deeply rooted in giving back to the community that inspired it all. A significant portion of the proceeds from every purchase at Heart & Halo goes directly towards funding the new shrine at Our Lady of Peace Korean Catholic Center. This shrine holds a special place in our hearts, and we are honored to contribute to its creation.

We invite you to learn more about the new shrine and the wonderful work being done at Our Lady of Peace Korean Catholic Center by visiting their website: www.olpkcc.org.

Thank you for being a part of our story and for helping us spread a little bit of heart and halo. With every piece you choose, you're not just acquiring a unique item; you're also contributing to a meaningful cause and sharing in the beautiful journey that began with two little artists.
